ALMOND CHEESE
Soak:
Then put the Almonds in a blender with the following ingredients and blend until smooth:
Put the following ingredients in a small saucepan and put on the stove:
Whisk these together and put on medium heat on the stove, stirring constantly until it boils and is thick.
Immediately pour into the blender and blend with the almond mixture. This will be thick. Work with your blender.
Pour into a glass container and refrigerate until ready to use.
Soak:
- 1 ½ cups of Almonds overnight, then boil for a few minutes, rinse and remove skins.
Then put the Almonds in a blender with the following ingredients and blend until smooth:
- 1 ⅓ cup of ice-cold water
- the juice of 2 lemons
- 2 tsp onion powder
- 2 tsp salt (Jenny uses a little less)
Put the following ingredients in a small saucepan and put on the stove:
- 1 ½ c of the cold water
- 1 ½ t cornstarch
- 2 ½ T agar agar powder
Whisk these together and put on medium heat on the stove, stirring constantly until it boils and is thick.
Immediately pour into the blender and blend with the almond mixture. This will be thick. Work with your blender.
Pour into a glass container and refrigerate until ready to use.
