Apple Pie Granola
Put the following in a large bowl or stock pot and mix together:
  • 10 cups of rolled oats
  • 1 ½ cups of chopped walnuts
  • ½ cup sunflower seeds
Place the following ingredients in a blender and blend well:
  • 1 can of frozen apple juice concentrate
  • ¼ cup almond butter
  • 1 ½ tsp. cinnamon substitute (3 parts coriander to 1-part cardamom)
Pour the blended ingredients into the dry and gently mix together until all is wet.
Place the granola into two large casserole dishes and put into a 170° oven for 3-4 hours.
You will need to stir it once or twice while drying. This will help it dry evenly.

Take out of the oven and let cool, then add:
  • 1 ½ cup dried diced apple pieces
