SPINACH QUICHE
Blend until creamy:
Add and blend:
Cook in boiling water until tender:
Put blended mixture in a bowl.
Fold in the following:
Pour mixture into a Flakey pie crust.
Bake at 350° F. for 50 minutes.
Blend until creamy:
- ½ cup cashews (boiled and rinsed before using)
- ½ cup water
Add and blend:
- 1 tsp. garlic salt
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 T. arrowroot
- 1 T. brown rice flour
- 1 T. cornstarch
- 2 tsp. onion powder
- ½ cube of water-packed tofu, rinsed
Cook in boiling water until tender:
- 1-10 oz. package of frozen spinach, then drain well
Put blended mixture in a bowl.
Fold in the following:
- spinach
- 1 tsp. dried chives
- 1 T. soaked dried onion flakes
Pour mixture into a Flakey pie crust.
Bake at 350° F. for 50 minutes.
